Geomatics is an umbrella termed used to describe anything that falls under Earth measurement science, ranging from land surveying, remote sensing, nautical charts, cartography, and geographic information systems (GIS). There are two specializations within the Geomatics program at UF, surveying & mapping and geospatial analysis. Our program, and therefore GSA, is incredibly diverse with people of all ages from different walks of life. Whether you’re pursuing your Geomatics degree, certificate, or simply have an interest in the topic, you’re invited to GSA.
